The purpose of this scholarship endowment fund is to encourage qualified High School graduates to further their training in higher education. This scholarship was created in memory of Ken Freytag, who worked for Gerald Grain Center for 40 years before losing his battle with cancer. Ken had a drive for hard work and a passion for agriculture. Ken was a teacher and mentor to younger employees and this scholarship was created to allow more high school graduates to continue their education in Ken’s memory
